Welcome to our award-winning Rug Gallery, Wey Hill, established in the picturesque town of Haslemere and set within the Surrey Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Oriental Rug Gallery houses our passion of a unique and diverse collection of beautiful hand-woven Oriental Carpets, decorative, contemporary and antique rugs, large-sized carpets, aubussons, silks, kilims, tapestries, as well as tribal bags and trappings.
All our fine quality weavings are individually sourced and traditionally made by craftsmen weavers from around the world, using a colour pallette of natural dyes, and match the Gallery's high standards of integrity and quality.
With four generations of Master Rug Craftman expertise and a 100-year-old family rug business'es specialist skills, knowledge and experience in the field, we source and select only the finest quality weavings, which means that our customers can browse and purchase in confidence. So whether you are an interested individual, a private collector or an interior designer, please contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to help you select the piece that is perfect for you.
We offer a full range of expert repairs, restoration, alterations services, as well as our professional RugRescue deep-wash cleaning system, stain removal and corrective treatment services for all types of damaged, stained or dust-worn rugs, carpets, kilims and textiles. We aslo provide Written Valuations, a specially-devised Rug and Textile Wall Hanging Technique and Anti-slip Rug Underlay Services.
All our services are undertaken here, in our Gallery's custom-built Repairs & Restoration and Cleaning Studios, by Anas, who has been credited as being "one of the finest rug experts in the UK", with our Gallery team of rug repair, restoration and cleaning specialists.

Inspired by the Haslemere Coat of Arms' Motto: Vita Musis Gratior – 'Life Is More Satisfying Through The Muses Or Arts', Anas, a Master Rug Craftsman and Sandre, an award-winning Creative Designer, chose to hand-weave and rug-knot the Haslemere Coat of Arms in Wool and Silk on a traditional rug loom, to celebrate the 100-year centenary of their family rug business since 1910, and gift this Weaving to Haslemere Town and its community. More than 1,600 people from around the world, visited the Gallery to participate, by weaving their own rug knots into the piece.
Now on permanent display at Haslemere Museum, the Haslemere Coat of Arms Weaving is the UK's first-ever Coat of Arms to be hand-woven in Wool and Silk on a tradtional rug-weaving loom, by a Master Rug Craftsman.
